SECAR® 68V is a calcium aluminate binder, specially developed and adapted for low cement castables based on natural aggregates and containing fume silica.SECAR® 68V demonstrates excellent flow property even at high ambient temperatures and is therefore well designed for hot climate like in India. SECAR® 68V benefits from fast hardening and rapid strength development and enables shorter demoulding time. This feature is particularly valuable on job sites, where repair time is always short and reliable demoulding often critical. SECAR® 68V has a chemistry and high temperature performance that makes it ideally suited for applications in the iron and steel industries, such as DRI lining, tundish furniture and permanent linings, lances, and reheat furnaces; applications for the cement industry such as preheater sections and coolers; and thermal industry applications such as boilers and fired heaters.
